Stellar Revival
Jul 23, 2012
Stellar Revival proudly counts themselves among those "crazy ones." Part of that slogan, in fact, is tattooed on bassist Daniel Uricoli's arm and is the title of the band's first single. The phrase sums up the fierce passion Dan and band co-founder Rino Cerbone have for their Florida-based lineup.Capitol Records has signed Stellar Revival, whose debut album Love, Lust, and Bad Company will be released on May 8, 2012. The Florida natives' first single "The Crazy Ones'" will impact radio March 20th. Plans for a 2012 tour have also been announced as they hit the ground running opening for Theory of a Deadman alongside Pop Evil as support. The tour kicks off on April 9 in Tallahassee.
The quintet, Rino Cerbone (Vocals), Daniel Uricoli Jr. (Bass), Steve Morgan (Guitar), Ryan Spears (Guitar), and Andrew Koussevitzky (Drums) worked with Canadian producer/songwriter Brian Howes (Hinder, Daughtry, Nickelback), to create the eleven tracks on Love, Lust, and Bad Company. The band distinguishes themselves from the rest by evolving into music chameleons with songs like the propulsive, attacking "The Crazy Ones" to the heart-wrenching piano ballad "Shattered" to the Tool-like bass riffs in "Heart to Stone."
Stellar Revival aims to bring back honesty, rebellion, and a new way of doing things into good old-fashioned rock. 'You can relate to music when it speaks to you and your life. That's when you fall in love with it," said Dan. It's practically spiritual to me."
You may have heard their song "The Crazy Ones" on 103GBF. Stellar Revival is just coming off the Avalanche Tour with Shinedown and the video for their sound 'The Crazy Ones" just debuted on recently.
