Aranda is a rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Band members include Dameon Aranda, Gabe Aranda, and Mike Walker. Brothers Dameon and Gabe Aranda have been writing, playing, and singing music together since they were kids, and even at a young age, they knew that music was going to be a major part of their lives. Dameon grew up to work with such artists as Jessica Simpson and the Backstreet Boys, as well as Grammy-nominated producers Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello, and Mark Ronson. The band first formed in June 2001. The band's first record, Aranda, was released in April 2008. Their first single, "Still in the Dark", peaked at No. 31 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Aranda has toured with bands like The All-American Rejects, Buckcherry, Sevendust, Anew Revolution, Since October, Edisun, Puddle of Mudd and many others. They also were recently on tour with Halestorm and Adelitas Way. With the brothers' flawless harmonies and passionate onstage performances, Aranda is a live show you'll never forget.
After Aranda finally signed with Wind-Up Records in mid-2012, the band got to work to put out another album. Finally, on October 16th their second album Stop the World was released. The CD was produced by Grammy Award nominated producer Johnny K, and has 10 songs, including their first single "Undone". This track is currently climbing the active rock charts.
"We want to create high energy, keep rocking, keep everybody entertained. We want to involve the audience and make it fun for them," guitarist Dameon says. "Our hope is that you'll keep coming back for more."
