Buckcherry

Formed in 1995, Buckcherry is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band has released two albums, Buckcherry (1999) and Time Bomb (2001), before dissolving in the summer of 2002. In 2005, lead vocalist Josh Todd and lead guitarist Keith Nelson reformed Buckcherry and released a new album in April 2006 called 15. It contained Buckcherry's biggest crossover hits to date, "Crazy Bitch", and their first Billboard Hot 100 top ten hit, "Sorry". Their fourth album, Black Butterfly, was released in September 2008, and their fifth album, All Night Long, was released in August 2010. Their next album, Confessions is due for release in February 19th. This will be their first domestic release with new label Century Media Records. The CD will be made available via Eleven Seven Music in other parts of the world. Buckcherry is also planning on releasing a short film that ties in with the album. The first single from Confessions, "Gluttony", was made available for streaming on December 7th.
Confessions is a loose concept album that revolves around the notion of the seven deadly sins and it is inspired by events in lead singer Josh Todd's childhood. The vocalist told The Pulse Of Radio how their first single, "Gluttony", fits perfectly into this.
"Seven of the songs on the record are the seven sins, so 'Gluttony', you know, it's just about over-consuming everything in your life, you know, and just being a glutton," he said. "And it's got a great hook and I really love the lyrics and everybody likes the song."
The band will join Kid Rock as special guests on his upcoming "Rebel Soul" tour, beginning February 2nd in Kansas City, Missouri.
