Eye Empire

The American rock supergroup, Eye Empire formed in 2009 and it's members include former Dark New Day members Corey Lowery and B.C. Kochmit as well as Donald Carpenter formerly of Submersed. Garrett Whitlock, formerly of Submersed, and Dixie Duncan were Eye Empire's drummer and guitarist respectively from their formation until 2010. Drummer Will Hunt, Lowery and Kochmit's band mate in Dark New Day, joined the band in 2010 before departing in 2011, replaced by Ryan Bennett formerly of the Texas Hippie Coalition. Eye Empire recorded their debut album, Moment of Impact in 2010 featuring contributions from Sevendust members Lajon Witherspoon and Morgan Rose.
Last summer, the band toured heavily across the country and also released a two-disc album to Moment of Impact called simply Impact via Bulldog Productions out on June 19th. It contained all of the songs from Moment of Impact as well as unreleased songs, acoustic, and live versions of songs. The first single from the album, "I Pray" had early airplay on Sirius/XM's "Octane". After a year of radio support of this single, close to 400 appearances over the past couple of years, and a unity that keeps Eye Empire going strong, the focus shifts to crowd favorite "More Than Fate" as single number two. Carpenter offers, "I am deeply connected to this story. You truly have to live by your heart and trust that life will lead you in the direction you are needed. I believed and it led me to Eye Empire. I will never take that for granted."
Eye Empire will head out on their first headlining run of 2013 this month. Dubbed "The Revolution Tour", it will be a 2 month trek featuring 3 Years Hollow as direct support from 1/18-2/18 and Surrender The Fall as direct support from 2/19-3/19.
