Californian rock band, Black Veil Brides released their latest studio album, a rock opera concept compilation, Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones via Lava Records/Universal Republic Records on January 8th. The track "In the End" is the album's lead single, and was offered as an instant download to everyone who pre-ordered the album from iTunes after October 31st last year. This song has been featured as one of the theme songs for WWE's Hell in a Cell.
The members of Black Veil Brides are Andy Biersack (lead vocals), Ashley Purdy (bass, backing vocals), Jake Pitts (lead guitar), Jinxx (rhythm guitar, violin) and Christian "CC" Coma (drums). When it comes to their live shows, these guys are most known for their heavy black makeup, body paint, tight black studded clothing, and long hair, which was inspired by Kiss' and Mötley Crüe's stage persona, as well as numerous other 1980s glam metal acts.
Black Veil Brides will embark on a North American tour, titled "The Church of the Wild Ones Tour" in support of this new album, lasting from January-March, 2013. In February, they will take a small break from the tour to headline the Kerrang! Tour in the UK, with supporting acts Chiodos, Tonight Alive, and Fearless Vampire Killers. They will then return to US to finish off the last leg of "The Church of the Wild Ones Tour". The band will also be releasing a full-length film titled "Legion of the Black" later this year in select theaters. The film will be a visual depiction of the story in their album, Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones. The movie did screen at The Silent Movie Theater in Los Angeleson 12/21/2012-12/23/2012.
