Asking Alexandria

British rock band, Asking Alexandria will be releasing From Death to Destiny sometime this summer via Sumerian Records. They have released "Run Free" and more recently, the hard-hitting track, The Death of Me" came out on March 28th.
Guitarist Ben Bruce stated last fall of the new disc, "[The new album is] a lot more mature. [We may have] a lot of radio singles - what we're calling radio singles, songs we're going to push towards radio and try to accelerate our career and get to the next level and hopefully bring our old fans across with us ... [The rest of it will be] our usual balls-to-the-wall kind of stuff. We spent a long time honing in on our song structures and writing techniques and things like that, but there are still heavy songs on the record. We're not just going to throw that away and kick our original fan base in the teeth by getting rid of all that."
They are originally from York, North Yorkshire and were founded in 2008 when band frontman, Ben Bruce contacted his old companions upon returning to the UK. The current line-up of the group consists of Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass guitar) and James Cassells (drums).
Asking Alexandria head out on the "Don't Pray for Us" North American tour with Motionless in White, Whitechapel, Chimaira and I Killed the Prom Queen this month. In addition, the group has booked shows in Europe after this tour.
