Ages Apart
May 26, 2013
Rock band, Ages Apart, released their debut album, Can You Hear Me back in September. On it, they balance beauty and aggression and became a fresh voice in the melodic Active Rock genre. Guided by producer Travis Wyrick (P.O. D, 10 Years, Pillar), Ages Apart seeks a sound both daring & familiar, at times introspective & at others furiously emotional.
Their latest release to Active Rock radio, "I Believed," is sure to be a successful single. From the chorus ringing 'You told me you would never leave me alone, You told me you would never lie to me, everything you said, everything you did, I Believed!". It is a heartfelt song about battles with life and the struggles of day to day relationships that we have all encountered.
Ages Apart formed in 2006 out of a mutual need to produce music that was aesthetically heavy and dark yet uplifting in its message. Members include Cody Webb (Vocals & Guitar), Chris Srygley (Drums) and Will Bradley (Bass). After 300+ shows, an EP, and now a major release, Ages Apart is ready to carry their distinctive sound to a mass audience.
The Black and White Magazine calls them "timeless." and Timothy Toutges of Ed Jones Productions in Nashville raves, "Ages Apart is a world class band that will go all the way! This is what Rock & Roll dreams are made of." Perhaps Lou Brutus of Sirius XM said it best with his understated praise, "These guys are really good. Why has no one sent this band to me before?" Even more people will be asking this question as the band dramatically expands their touring schedule and radio play to previously unreached markets throughout 2013.
