The English metalcore band from North Yorkshire are gearing up to invade North America with a new headlining tour run. Called "Break Down The Walls" tour, the dates kick off in early March in Texas running through mid-April in California with additional dates to be revealed at a later time. Asking Alexandra put together quite a lineup for the run too. Joining them on the road will be August Burns Red, We Came As Romans, Crown The Empire and Born of Osiris. The idea of returning to the U.S. and Canada is one that Asking Alexandria is looking forward to.
Guitarist Ben Bruce shared his thoughts on the upcoming mega-tour, sharing, "America, we are coming for you. It's been a while since we have seen your beautiful faces, but we are back this March with a lineup that takes us right back to our roots. This is the most dynamic package that we have ever put together and we can't wait to come and play for you guys."
It's not just the lineup that Bruce raved about though. The band is putting a lot of hard work and energy into all aspects of the show. "Expect our biggest and best production, our longest set to date and more rock n' roll antics and debauchery than ever before," said Bruce. "Get your tickets ASAP as this sh- will sell-out fast. Come hang out with us. We will see you soon."
Founded in 2008 when Ben Bruce contacted his old companions upon returning to the UK after residing in Dubai. The current line-up of the group consists of Ben Bruce (lead guitar), Danny Worsnop (vocals), Cameron Liddell (rhythm guitar), Sam Bettley (bass guitar) and James Cassells (drums). Their third album is titled From Death to Destiny. The band released the lead single from the album, "The Death of Me" on March 28th 2013 and the album in its entirety on August 6th via Sumerian Records. Revolver Magazine included the album on their list of the Most Anticipated Albums of 2012.
