FLYLEAF
Jul 20, 2014

Flyleaf has consistently dominated the Active, Alternative and Mainstream Rock radio charts throughout their career. Their new album, Between The Stars, will be their debut for Loud & Proud Records, will be released on September 16th. The lead single currently out now from the album is "Set Me On Fire".
Lead vocalist Kristen May says the newly premiered track is "about the passion we feel when we first fall in love and our emotions are running high, along with our thirst for this great life and all it has to offer. There is so much beauty, excitement and hope in this world and when we collide with one another and fall in love, magic happens. I hope everyone turns this song up to eleven, and sings at the top of their lungs."
Flyleaf members include Kristen May (vocals), Sameer Bhattacharya (guitar), Jared Hartmann (guitar), Pat Seals (bass) and James Culpepper (drums). They released their eponymous debut album in 2005 which was RIAA-certified Platinum and spawned the singles "I'm So Sick," "Fully Alive," and the smash "All Around Me," which sold over one million digital downloads, was a Top 20 hit at CHR/Top 40 radio and won the BMI Pop Award. Their second album, Memento Mori was released in late 2009 and debuted at #8 on the Billboard Album charts, featuring the singles "Again" and "Missing." Their third album, New Horizons, was released in 2012. After months of touring the world with the new line-up addition of Kristen May on vocals, the band released a new EP, Who We Are, in 2013 which featured the song "Something Better" with P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval on guest vocals.
Conscious of constantly giving back, the band has played a number of special shows for American troops stationed in Afghanistan as well as Okinawa, Japan, in addition to sharing the stage with such rock luminaries as Korn, Deftones, Stone Sour, Evanescence, and more.
