"Coming For You" is the new single from the Southern California group, The Offspring. It is their first single from the band's highly-anticipated 10th forthcoming studio album. The album was produced by Bob Rock and is expected to be released later this year via Time Bomb Recordings.
Formed in Orange County in 1984, the band consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, lead guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, bassist Greg K. and drummer Pete Parada. The Offspring is often credited-alongside fellow California punk bands Green Day and Rancid-for reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the 1990s.
The Offspring have sold over 50 million records worldwide, being considered one of the best-selling punk rock bands of all time. The band's third studio album, Smash (1994), became their first commercial success featuring hit singles, "Come Out And Play," Gotta Get Away," and Self Esteem." The LP has sold over 20 million copies worldwide. They continued to achieve success with their four follow-up albums, Ixnay on the Hombre (1997), Americana (1998), Conspiracy of One (2000) and Splinter (2003), reaching platinum, multi-platinum, platinum and gold status respectively. Splinter was followed five years later by Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace (2008), and then four years later by Days Go By (2012).
On April 4th, The Offspring will be playing a show in Tempe, Arizona with A Day To Remember, Rancid, NOFX, The Used, and The Vandals. Look for additional tour info to be announced soon.
