Papa Roach

"Gravity" is the latest single from the rock group, Papa Roach. It is on their latest album, "F.E.A.R." (Face Everything and Rise) released earlier this year via Eleven Seven Music. The song finds singer Jacoby Shaddix and In This Moment vocalist Maria Brink dueting about a greatly dysfunctional relationship. For the first time in years, Shaddix dons his alter ego of rapper Coby Dick for the track, while Brink joins him on the mega-choruses. Brink appeared on the track since she happened to be in the same studio while Papa Roach was recording "F.E.A.R."
"'Gravity' is my testament to show other couples who may be going through a damaged relationship that they really can get through it," says Shaddix of the inspiration behind the track. "My wife is my gravity...straight up." It just worked out that we had this song," says Papa Roach bassist Tobin Esperance. "The idea came around when we got to the chorus about having a guest vocalist, and man, Maria was just perfect."
Orginally from Vacaville, California, Papa Roach consists of Jacoby Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Tobin Esperance and Tony Palermo. Their first major-label release was the triple-platinum album "Infest" in 2000. The group's success continued with their gold album "Lovehatetragedy" in 2002, their platinum album "Getting Away with Murder" in 2004, "The Paramour Sessions" in 2006, "Metamorphosis" in 2009, "Time for Annihilation" in 2010, and "The Connection" in 2012. Papa Roach has sold more than 20 million album copies worldwide and are known for their songs "Last Resort", "Between Angels and Insects", "She Loves Me Not" and many others.
Papa Roach just announced a fall 2015 tour with Five Finger Death Punch. Taking a cue from its Motley Crue labelmates, Papa Roach (and FFDP) are asking that fans vote for which cities the groups should play in. Fans can cast their vote at demand.paparoach.com.
