Wes 'The Blade' Styles Displays His Radio Edit Championship Belt
WIHN (Rock 96.7)/Bloomington-Normal, IL Brand Manager Wes Styles has a reputation for doing awesome radio edits of Rock songs, and what started out as a joke, soon became reality. During the first #Happens Zoom call last March, with many of Rock radio's finest in attendance, a couple of mentions were made about his radio edits. The nickname "The Blade" came up on the call at which point Styles grabbed his replica WWE Championship belt and WAPL/Appleton, WI morning man Cutter made a joke about it. Styles replied "Don’t make me redo the main plate on this thing," after which he went to work. Styles said, "Thanks to the help of Dirtbag clothing, the #Happens team, plus the amazing ‘Bands, Barbeque, & Baseball’ podcast with A.D Roundtree, the ‘Radio Edit Championship’ belt was made through ProAM Belts. The belt will make appearances at the next #Happens convention and other Rock events when we are all able to get back together." Here's Styles posing with his prized Radio Edit Championship belt!
