H-Town Hosts Reunion For KLOL Radio
Several personalities and staff from Houston's former heritage rocker 101 KLOL gathered on February 5th, 2022 to share stories and view the artwork of the painter formerly known as Outlaw Radio's Scott T. Phillips. The event, organized by former KLOL promotions guy Doug Harris, was staged during an exhibition of Phillip's work during Wild at Art, benefitting Harris' StellaNova Foundation. Joining the festivities were fellow Radio-Outlaw Grego, Traffic Master Lanny Griffith, Producer Brian Shannon, James "Moby" Carney, station owner Jay Jones, GM Patrick Fant, production wiz Mark (Stubblefield) Masters, and record industry pro Patti Martin. Jock-turned writer/producer/stage actress Dayna Steele brought jock-turned TV personality Garth Hemp (now Kemp) as her surprise guest. Also attending were identical twins Jerry and Terry Kirksey, actress/model Tiffanie Williams, and Tim (Edwards) Trostle reunited the KLOL promotions department with Doug Harris, their one-time commander-in-chief. Former KLOL jock Chris Alan was on hand to gift the group with t-shirts featuring the iconic Runaway Radio.
