Dorothy Spends Her Birthday With WIYY (98 Rock)/Baltimore
Roc Nation rocker Dorothy, whose latest single "Rest In Peace" is in the Top 10 on the Rock charts, celebrated her birthday on April 11th by spending the day with WIYY/Baltimore's morning team of Justin, Scott & Spiegel and PD Rick Strauss. Strauss said, "We started the day by filming a segment for 'Justin, Scott & Spiegel Shouldn’t Be On TV' which airs after 'Saturday Night Live' on WBAL TV-11 in Baltimore. The premise: Dorothy always has the perfect Rock Star look, so she would attempt to help our morning show guys find their own rock star attire and take them shopping at a nearby thrift shop (Vogue Revisited). Then, we headed downtown for 98 Rock’s party and live broadcast for the Orioles opener. The band played a 3-song acoustic set atop a mobile bar against the backdrop of Orioles Park at Camden Yards (also filmed for TV) and, we presented Dorothy with her own Orioles jersey and a birthday cake created by 'Cakes By Jason.' After the performance, I took the band over to our suite at Camden Yards to watch the Orioles win their home opener.
