BMI’s Music Row offices recently gathered friends, family, and industry tastemakers to celebrate “Dead Man Walking,” the first number one for Nashville-based Jelly Roll. The party was hosted by BMI and SESAC, and paid tribute to Jelly Roll and his co-writers Michael Whitworth, Andrew Baylis, and David Ray Stevens - all of whom experienced their first number one hit with “Dead Man Walking”, which hit the top of the Mediabase and Billboard Rock charts.
