Your Body:
Forget about cell phones giving you brain tumors; all the gadgets being used these days might affect your posture.
Technology is turning us into a nation of hunchbacks, according to physiotherapists. They say our posture is a product of what we do on a daily basis, which for many these days, is to constantly look down at our iPhones, iPods, iPads or Blackberries to tap out texts, select songs, surf the web or check e-mail.
One in 10 people has had a texting while walking accident.
To stop the slide into slouching, the physiotherapists recommend frequent breaks from our gadget, stand up and stretch and hold you head up. (Maiman)Polling America:
Dumb wastes of money: A website lists 24 items on which you shouldn't waste your money, along with little blurbs on why you're stupid to spend it on these things. For instance, the gym, No 16 on their list. Says the website: "Here's a money saving tip: if you're chubby, go jog. It's free."
You get the idea. It comes off less like anything researched and more like a troll list made up by two idiot roommates who were bored stiff and too lazy to make a beer run. But that's pretty much most morning shows, right? (Maiman)

ALICE COOPER says he almost killed ELVIS PRESLEY. He told the UK's Mirror tabloid that one night back in the mid-1970's when Alice was a superstar, he rode up in a elevator with LIZA MINNELLI to The King's penthouse suite in Las Vegas. When the door opened, Alice said he was frisked for weapons. When he got to the kitchen, Elvis was there holding a loaded gun. Alice was told to put the gun to Presley's head. He thought about pulling the trigger, but Elvis did a fast karate move and kicked the weapon out of the shock rocker's hand. (Marino)
Stars and their movies:
ALEC BALDWIN for NYC Mayor? Baldwin's rep, MATTHEW HILTZIK, told the Hollywood Reporter yesterday, "I wouldn't rule it out."
Of course, the move comes in response to the ANTHONY WIENER scandal, in which he texted and tweeted X-rated pictures to.
And a friend of Alec's told NY Daily News columnist RICHARD JOHNSON that Alec is "mulling over" a potential run for the Mayor's office, since MICHAEL BLOOMBERG's term will expire due to term limits.
The Reporter also says the timing will potentially work out, since Alec has said he'll be leaving show business in 2012 when his "30 Rock" contract expires.Designer Update:
Five-year-old SURI CRUISE has a --get this-- 150-thousand dollar shoe collection!
Star Magazine says that TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES' daughter prefers shoes with heels. And if the shoe she wants doesn't have heels? Well, then Katie gets them custom-made by high-end designers like MARC JACOBS and CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN.
In addition to the high-priced shoe collection, it's believed the little girl's designer clothes are worth around $3.2 million dollars. Suri has been photographed wearing $110 dollar Ugg boots, a $21-hundred dollar Dolce & Gabbana trench coat and mini-version of an eight hundred dollar Ferragamo bag.
In fact, Suri has become such a trendsetter that last month, she ranked 21st on Glamour magazine's list of style icons. She beat out both LADY GAGA and SARAH JESSICA PARKER on that list. (Bartha)
