NICK JONAS is headed to Broadway. He'll take over the lead role in the hit revival of the musical, "How To Suceed In Business Without Really Trying." Remember the kid in the movie “E.T.”? HENRY THOMAS is all grown up now, and TV Guide says he’s all set to guest star on the hit show, “The Mentalist,” playing the bounty hunting brother of ROBIN TUNNEY's character, Teresa Lisbon.
Grace notes:
On what would have been his 75th birthday, BUDDY HOLLY finally got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The unveiling ceremony happened yesterday, and Buddy's widow, MARIA ELENA SANTIAGO was there, along with PHIL EVERLY of the EVERLY BROTHERS, and GARY BUSEY who played the singer-songwriter in the movie, "The Buddy Holly Story." Buddy was just 22 when he died in a plane crash along with RITCHIE VALENS and THE BIG BOPPER. He was a major influence on THE BEATLES, THE ROLLING STONES and everyone else who ever wrote a rock 'n' roll song. (Marino)
KID ROCK will kick off the football season with a concert. He'll perform tonight at Lambeau Field, home of the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers. They'll play the New Orleans Saints tonight in the first game of the year. Also on the bill with Kid are LADY ANTEBELLUM and MAROON 5. Naturally, Kid is a Detroit Lions fan since they're his hometown team. (Marino)
Things Women Do that Confuse the Hell Out of Men:
1. Hanging with Hoes. If you question your B-F-F's character, but then head out for a wild Saturday night, you're sending a mixed message --and giving your gentleman caller reason to think your judgment is off.
2. Delusions of grandeur. Did he tell you from the get-go he didn't want a relationship? Are your feelings hurt because he still doesn't want to settle down? Don't get mad at Mr. Wonderful --you're the one who thought you could change him.
3. "I’m fine” --No, You're Not. If you're not "OK," guys find it immature that you'd lie about it. Believe it or not, he wants to have a great relationship, but doesn't have a crystal ball. Tell him the source of your frustration.
4. Dating Bums. If you're beautiful, intelligent and kind, don't waste your time with a loser! Captain Fantastic will come around, but he may not be interested after seeing you hot-and-heavy with that continually unemployed con artist.
