Married:
Congrats to former "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Charmed" star SHANNEN DOHERTY, who tied the knot with her third husband, photographer KURT ISWARIENKO, Saturday in Malibu, CA. US Weekly magazine reports the wedding was filmed (as is now apparently a pre-requisite in Hollywood) for Shannen's upcoming WEtv reality show, "Shannen Says," which which will debut sometime next year.
In case you haven't been keeping track, Shannen was previously married to ASHLEY HAMILTON and RICK SALOMON.Also getting hitched:
"Twilight" star NIKKI REED and former "American Idol" contestant PAUL McDONALD, Sunday in Malibu, CA. "Spy Kids" star ALEXA VEGA was the maid of honor for the happy couple. E! Online reports that Paul's band, The Grand Magnolias, flew in for the ceremony and to play at the reception along with fellow tenth season "Idol" alum STEFANO LANGONE.
Splitting:
"Army Wives" star CATHERINE BELL and husband ADAM BEASON, after 17 years of marriage. The couple has two children, eight-year-old GEMMA and one-year old RONAN.
A rep for the couple says they plan to stay "great friends" and raise their children together. Plus, they still are partners in a production company (which, of course, isn't all that unusual in Hollywood). Also separating:
SONIC YOUTH founders KIM GORDON and THURSTON MOORE after 27 years of marriage. The couple has one daughter, a 17-year-old named COCO. Although the couple is splitting, their record label, Matador Records, says the band will continue with its upcoming South American tour dates next month.
Sick bay:
"Dallas" star LARRY HAGMAN revealed Friday that he has cancer. Larry, who's now 80-years-old, did not reveal what kind of cancer it was, but said it's "a very common and treatable form" and that he'd be getting treatment while he's working on the reboot of the series for TNT starting in mid-October.
Larry has had health problems before --he had to get a liver transplant in 1995 after developing cirrhosis of the liver. Also in Sick bay:
ROBIN GIBB of the BEE GEES had to check into the hospital over the weekend due to severe abdominal pain. E! Online says Robin had tests at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, England, and is being treated for inflammation of the colon. Robin had to cancel his Brazilian tour earlier this year after a similar incident, and it could be genetic --his twin brother, MAURICE (pronounced "Morris"), died in 2003 following emergency abdominal surgery to repair a twisted intestine. Robin had to have surgery himself last year to repair an intestinal blockage.
Rapper RICK ROSS suffered two seizures in six hours on Friday. AllHipHop.com says Rick was on a flight from Fort Lauderdale to Memphis, but the plane had to go back to Florida after Rick had what appeared to be a seizure. He was taken to a hospital, treated and released. Rick Tweeted, "Memphis, here I come." But, once his private jet left Memphis, it had to land in Birmingham, Alabama, because Rick had another seizure. He was taken to the emergency room. Rick's concert in North Carolina on Saturday was canceled. As of last night, he is reportedly in stable condition. (Marino)
TONE LOC collapsed on stage Saturday night in Atlanta. TMZ.com says the rapper was exhausted and taken to the hospital, hooked up to an IV. Tone's manager said he's ok even though there have been several reports that he had a seizure. (Marino)
