Gossip Central: tabloids:
PERREY REEVES is single and ready to mingle. Star magazine reports that the "Entourage" star was seen wrapped around "Resident Evil: Retribution" stud JOHANN URB at a party in Hollywood.
Editor's note: Perrey used to date "Californication" star DAVID DUCOVNEY before he married TEA LEONI. She even guest starred as a vampire on an episode of "The X Files" where she erotically sucked the blood from Agent Mulder's finger when he cut it! HOT! (Myers)Looking for love in all the wrong places:
A couple allegedly caught having intimate relations on the patio of a Florida restaurant won't face charges for the act.
According to CNews, police say they were called to Paddy Murphy's cafe in Orlando after customers reportedly saw 32-year-old JEREMY CALO and his date romping nude on a table in view of customers. The report alleges the couple started making out and it escalated from there.
Restaurant manager TOM MURPHY says he warned the couple to stop, but Calo refused and even picked a fight with the manager. Then, he allegedly refused to pay his 100-dollar tab.
Police say they arrested Calo for fighting and skipping out on the check. But, the couple won't be charged for their lewd acts because none of the eyewitnesses wants to give a statement to police. (Still)Highest paid TV actors (Forbes):
Even though ASHTON KUTCHER is getting much less than CHARLIE SHEEN pulled down to do "Two and a Half Men," he's still --by far-- the highest paid actor on TV, according to Forbes magazine's annual list of top TV moneymakers. Ashton picked up a cool $24 million last year --chump change compared to Charlie's $40 million for his last season of the show, but Ashton still has the top spot on the list.
"The Office" star STEVE CARRELL also fell off the list this year after punting out of his show.
9. (tie), Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Jason Segel; $8 million.
8. Patrick Dempsey, $12 million
7. Jon Cryer, $13 million
6. Tim Allen, $14 million
4. (tie), Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock") and Mark Harmon ("NCIS"); $15 million.
2. (tie), Hugh Laurie and Ray Romano; $18 million
1. Ashton Kutcher, $24 millionThat much-hyped book by former "Terminator" star and ex-California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER did not do nearly as well as expected at the bookstores. The memoir, called "Total Recall," just sold 21-thousand copies in its first week, according to Nielsen Bookscan.
That's pretty low, compared (for instance) to "No Easy Day," the (anonymous) Navy SEAL's account of the death of OSAMA bin LADEN, which sold 254-thousand copies its first week, or the fictional best-seller by J-K ROWLING, "A Casual Vacancy," which sold about 350-thousand copies in six days.Ratings:
Just fair numbers for "Emily Owens, M.D." on Tuesday night, which stars MAMIE GUMMER, MERYL STREEP's daughter, possibly because the show was up against the Presidential Debate which didn't get as many viewers as the first one, but still managed to pull in 65.6 million viewers.
Food and Nutrition:
If you're on the fence as to whether or not you should take a multivitamin, maybe this will help. A new study suggests a daily supplement could cut cancer rates by eight-percent. While that may seem like an insignificant amount to some, writings published in the Journal of the American Medical Association say it's still a significant benefit in cancer prevention.
Of course, if you don't want to take a pill to get your nutrients, you could eat more fruits and vegetables, but only one-and-a-half-percent of the public gets the recommended daily allowance of fruits and vegetables on a regular basis. In addition, taking a multivitamin is very easy; changing what you eat is much more difficult. (Page) -
