Sources tell TMZ.com that her ex-fiance, MICHAEL STRAHAN, was shocked to hear the news of their broken engagement over the weekend --particularly because it went down several weeks ago. Speculation is the ex-wife of EDDIE MURPHY decided to drop the bomb the same day Michael was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.

A new survey says 29-year-olds are more popular than they will be at any other time in their lives. New York magazine's The Cut says the survey of over 15-hundred British people was conducted by some group called Genius Gluten Free. They found that when you're 29:
--You are likely to have an average of 80 friends. That's about 30 percent more friends than the average held by other age groups (64 friends).
--You still keep connections with school friends, while also having several years to develop work friendships. (Bartha) -
