Friday (10-03):
Today is "Mean Girls" Day. Oct 03 is when Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron (played by LINDSAY LOHAN) what day it was in the movie "Mean Girls": "I've been talking to Aaron more and more. On October third, he asked me what day it was," Cady gushes. "It's October third!" Look out for a rumored "Mean Girls Two."
Baby brigade:
MILA KUNIS and ASHTON KUTCHER welcomed their first child to the world last Tuesday. Sources tell Us Weekly that the duo have a "healthy baby girl" and are "so happy" with their little princess. The lovebirds originally met while starring on "That 70's Show," went public with their relationship in 2011 and got engaged last February. On his website yesterday, Ashton said "Mila and I would like to welcome WYATT ISABELLE KUTCHER to the world. May her life be filled with wonder, love, laughter, health, happiness, curiosity and privacy." Then, Ashton posted a bunch of pictures and underneath, "Can you guess which one is ours, or does it really matter? All babies are cute." (Lee)
Idle gossip & unconfirmed rumors:
TAYLOR SWIFT has millions of fans around the world, a budding film career, fabulous wardrobe, two cats and (wait for it...) a brand-new nose! Dr. ANTHONY YOUN speculates to RadarOnline.com that T-Swizzle went in for rhinosplasty because her schnoz looks much thinner and "more refined" than it did when she was just a teen.
The "Shake It Off" singer has never confirmed that she's gone under the knife, but appeared to have given "the girls" a boost last year. (Lee)On, off and way-off Broadway:
LINDSAY LOHAN made her stage debut last night in London. She's in the three character play, "Speed The Plow," by DAVID MAMET, and the reviews are in. Here's what the UK newspapers said:
--The Guardian: "Lindsay Lohan provides the most interest in a revival of David Mamet's anti-Hollywood satire that otherwise fails to takes wing."
--The Independent: "What a turn up! Lindsay Lohan silences the doubters with a deft performance."
--The Telegraph: "This workaday but watchable revival doesn't soar to the heights of its predecessors, but you can't blame the star actress for that."
So, the bottom line is that the revival itself is kind of bland, but Linsday does a great job. Oh, and she only fluffed one line last night. That's an improvement over the first few previews. (Marino)Oversexed teacher /underaged student dep't:
Yow! Two female high school teachers have been arrested and charged with having a three-way with a 16-year-old boy in Kenner, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans.
Cops said they found out about the group sex after the guy bragged to his classmates.
The teachers, who were 24 and 32-years old, said the sex was consensual, but the police said he was under the legal age of consent --so it didn't matter. MICHAEL GLASER, the Police Chief in Kenner, noted "If this was two male teachers and a female student, the community would be outraged. [This] should have the same outrage."
The teachers are each out after posting $7-thousand dollars bail.Grace notes:
You can download a new AVICII single today. "The Days" will be part of his new album which is due out in early 2015. It will be the follow-up to the DJ/producer's 2013 album, "True." There's an exclusive interview with Avicii in the new issue of Billboard magazine which is on newsstands now. (Marino)
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, RIHANNA, EMINEM and METALLICA are all part of the lineup for "The Concert For Valor." It happens Veteran's Day, November 11th on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The concert was put together to raise awareness about veterans and what issues they face here at home. It's a free event and HBO will carry it live. The cable network will also be free during the concert so even if you're not a subscriber you can still see it. The show was organized by Starbucks chairman HOWARD SCHULTZ. TOM HANKS will be the host. (Marino)
