PS: A&E picked up a fourth and fifth season of "Bates Motel" yesterday.
The show, which recently ended its third season, will is a prequel to the events portrayed in the movie, "Psycho," and is intended to show how Norman Bates' (played by FREDDIE HIGHMORE) psyche unravels through his teenage years, and how complicated and twisted his relationship with his mother, Norma (played by VERA FARMIGA), is.--On this day in 1987: Lawyers for JERRY GARCIA and Ben and Jerry's ice cream worked out a deal to allow a new flavor to be marketed as "Cherry Garcia" after the Grateful Dead musician.

GEORGE MICHAEL is back in rehab. The German magazineBild says the singer checked himself in to a facility in Switzerland to get help with substance abuse. George has not made an official statement about this. (Marino)

A baby boy in India was born with four arms and four legs and locals think he's the reincarnation of a Hindu God.
People are traveling from hundreds of miles away to visit the baby in the district of Jharkhand. The parents haven't chosen a name for the child yet. Doctors say the birth defect is likely the remains of an undeveloped co-joined twin. But, faithful Hindis believe it's the second coming of the deity known as GANESHA. A growing number of U.S. kids are landing in the emergency room because of self-inflicted injuries. Most of the injuries were not life-threatening, but included acts like cutting, piercing and burning. The new study found that between 2009 and 2012, self-inflicted injuries in children rose from 1.1 to 1.6 percent of all E-R visits. WebMD.com says while the overall number of self-injury patients remained low, the increase "is worrisome." That's because kids who self-harm are at higher-than-average risk of eventually attempting suicide. (Bartha)

Unfortunately, mama tells Us Weekly she never said any such thing, simply discussed her views on gay rights, talked about an event for TheWolfConnection.com and swears that K-Stew's love life was not a topic of conversation.
