What's the Buzz:
The latest viral trend is #Prattkeeping, and it looks like the Smithsonian Museum has won.
#Prattkeeping is the act of taking photos a la that one photo of CHRIS PRATT in the movie, "Jurassic World," trying to tame the raptors. It's been taken up with zookeepers worldwide, with a multitude of different animals, but the Smithsonian has finally taken it full circle: they used dinosaur skeletons.
It's currently heading the #prattkeeping tag on Twitter, found HERE. (AB)The Internet:
Gmail has a new, "Undo Send" feature.
Google announced this week that all those quick, nasty replies you send can be taken back --but only for around 30 seconds from the time you press "send." It works by delaying the messages until the 30-second cancellation period has elapsed --so an "unsent" e-mail will never arrive in the recipient's inbox.
Look for the "Undo Send" feature to be rolled out over the next two weeks.Trash talk and satellite dish:
KIM KARDASHIAN's Father's Day announcement that she's carrying a baby boy wasn't exactly a huge surprise. Sources tell Us Weeklythe bootylicious brunette and hubby KANYE WEST chose to implant only male embryos after undergoing invitro fertilization. Word is the rapper really wanted "an heir" and being able to pick the baby's sex was the "cherry on top."
Meanwhile, the reality darling was rudely awakened by a drunken, naked woman that started banging on her door at a hotel in Cannes, France this week and had to call security three times to get her to leave. (Lee)Fashion Emergency:
Rumor has it that RIHANNA is (finally!) starting her own fashion line... Grazia is reporting that Rihanna has registered a patent for an accessories line called "$CHOOL KIlls." ("School Kills.") The unconfirmed report says the accessories range will cover "everything from tote bags to purses, and later on, fashion."
Rihanna has been a heavy presence in fashion for years, including a high profile (and best-selling) collaboration for River Island. If true, this would be her first full-fledged fashion line. (Bartha)On the Beat:
Police in Winnipeg, Canada, have apologized for talking dirty.
Officers on helicopter patrol reportedly broadcast their explicit conversation over a loudspeaker. The conversation allegedly included sexual content and profanity and was heard loud and clear by residents the city's West End neighborhood. A police spokesperson says the officers were unaware their conversation was being heard. Some locals are calling for those involved to be disciplined. (Still)Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
PHARRELL WILLIAMS' new single will be an Apple Music exclusive. The company announced yesterday that when its new streaming service launches on Tuesday, you'll get to hear "Freedom" as an exclusive... if you sign up, that is. Pharrell posted a 15-second sneak peak of the song yesterday on his Twitter feed. (Marino)
