Posturing, Posing and Press Releases:
With his poll numbers near zero and his donors drying up, WI Gov. SCOTT WALKER dropped out of the GOP presidential race late yesterday. He's also urging other candidates at the bottom of the remaining 15-person pack to do the same thing, so voters can coalesce around a candidate who can topple front-runner DONALD TRUMP. (Pacelli)
Halloween:
A "Sexy DONALD TRUMP" Halloween costume exists. We're sorry to conjure that mental image in your head... we just report the news. The trashy costumes website Yandy.com says it's "Donna T. Rumpshaker" costume promises to "Make America Great Again" with its $69.95 white sleeveless collar shirt, red tie, royal blue faux blazer and royal blue booty shorts. The "Make America Great Again" trucker cap and comb-over wig are sold separately.
This web-commerce site is known for being a one-stop-shop for its tasteless takes on "sexy..." Halloween fashion. It's the same outfit offering a sexy "Cecil the Lion" get-up. (Bartha)Men in Uniform:
POPE FRANCIS' first official visit to the United States begins today, as his plane arrives at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, DC, at 4 pm.
Yesterday, the FAA declared all of New York, Philadelphia and Washington temporary "no drone zones" during the Papal visit. FAA administrator MICHAEL HUERTA says "Flying a drone anywhere near the areas Pope Francis visits is against the law and violators could face stiff fines and criminal penalties."
The official White House welcome will take place tomorrow morning at 11 am with a Papal parade along the Ellipse and the National Mall winding up at the White House for a personal meeting with PRESIDENT OBAMA.

--ARETHA FRANKLIN is set to perform for the Pope in Philly. On, off and way-off-Broadway:
The Lord of the Dance will end his career on Broadway. London's Daily Mail says MICHAEL FLATLEY will make his debut on the Great White Way in "Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games" which runs from November 7th through January 3rd at the Lyric Theater. After that, 57-year-old Michael says he will retire. He's originally from Chicago and thanks to his reinvention of traditional Irish dancing, Forbes says Michael is worth close to $300-million dollars. (Marino)
Bad luck:
Colorado State University's mascot died Saturday right before a big game.
University President TONY FRANK says CAM THE RAM --who was a real live sheep-- died unexpectedly right before the Rocky Mountain Showdown against the Colorado Buffaloes. Six-year-old Cam was the school's 24th mascot. He was quickly replaced with mascot 25 in time for the big game.
Sadly for CSU, the Buffaloes won. (Still) -
