Mom of the year award:
Congrats to KATE TRIPTON of Tennessee who gave birth to triplets so large, they almost set a new world record.
At birth, JACK, STELLA, and LUKE TRIPTON were just two pounds short of breaking the world record. The triplets weighed nearly 20-pounds altogether when they were delivered at the University of Tennessee Medical Center --the largest triplets ever born at that hospital. It's amazing considering triplets typically only weigh around three-pounds each at birth. The largest triplets ever recorded weighed 22-pounds altogether and were born in California back in 2004. (Still)Sucking up:

Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
Bass players hardly ever get respect, especially when a gorilla can do their job! RollingStone.com says RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS bassist FLEA hung out with Koko the Gorilla last week at the Gorilla Foundation in Woodside, California. They hung out and "jammed" for a while with 45-year-old Koko rockin' out on the instrument herself. Flea let Koko keep the bass, but took the amp back because he borrowed it. (Marino)
