The Reel Deal:
Four words: ANNE. HATHAWAY. Cat. Suit.
Check, please.
Varietysays Anne is interested in doing a Catwoman spinoff movie.
During an interview for her current film, "Colossal," at the Toronto Film Festival, she said she would love to play the character again, but admitted it may be a difficult task: "I'm not sure how it would work because I think [director] CHRIS NOLAN's chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I'm part of that, but I love the DC Comic Universe and it would be fun to take a trip back."Taking everything much too seriously:
Thousands of cyclists took to the streets of Philadelphia butt-nekkid over the weekend.
About three thousand people stripped down as Philly celebrated the eighth annual World Naked Bike Ride on Saturday. The 12-mile ride started near the Philadelphia Museum of Art and featured riders in various states of undress. Some people wore masks to hide their identity and others chose to cover up with body paint. Participant OREN EISENBERG has attended the event every year. He explains, "It's a really open and fun way of destigmatizing nudity." (Still)Like you really care:
EDDIE ANTAR, former owner of the Crazy Eddie retail electronics chain has died. NJ.com says he was 68. Eddie started with one store in Brooklyn, New York, and eventually had hundreds of stores in four states. The chain became famous, thanks to TV commercials featuring New York City radio DJ JERRY CARROLL, who would declare that Crazy Eddie's prices were "INSANE!" Eddie's gimmick was, shop around, get the best price you can find on an item, and he'll beat it. But, Eddie was a bad boy. He scammed customers, skimmed off the top, inflated earnings and stiffed the IRS. After he was investigated, Eddie left the country in 1990 and was captured in Israel two years later. Eddie went to jail, served his time, then basically disappeared.
FYI: Jerry Carroll made so much money starring in the TV ads that he was able to quit his radio job. (Marino)Odds to Win Dancing With the Stars Season 23 (from Bovada Sportsbook):
