On the Beat:
Even Cookie Monster is taking a stand! A costumed Cookie Monster in Times Square in New York City tried to break up a fight between a man dressed as a Native American and another dressed as a pilot.
According to witnesses, the man dressed as a pilot thought the Native American costume was racist and attacked him. That's when Cookie Monster stepped in --and the pilot pulled a knife and stabbed him in the back!
Cookie Monster took himself to the ER, and thankfully his injury wasn't life threatening. No arrests have been made. (Myers) -
