Marie Clairesays The Outrage's operators made the move following the results of last week's election. The Outrage co-founder REBECCA CORREA FUNK said they've already surpassed $15-thousand in sales for the collection. Broadcast, cable and video news:
Today's the day that MEGYN KELLY's memoir, "Settle for More," hits bookstores.
Yesterday, former FOX News Channel boss ROGER AISLES took time to repeat his insistence that he did not sexually harass her, releasing a statement through his lawyers saying "I categorically deny the allegations Megyn Kelly makes about me. I worked tirelessly to promote and advance her career, as Megyn herself admitted to CHARLIE ROSE... My attorneys have restricted me from commenting further --so suffice it to say that no good deed goes unpunished."Rounding up the usual suspects:
California police say a man has been terrorizing a neighborhood with an air horn.
El Segundo police arrested JOHN W. NUGGENT Sunday night after a lengthy investigation. Nuggent has allegedly been blasting the horn in the early morning hours for several weeks. A police spokesman says, "The sound is like a train coming through the neighborhood." Police would hear the noise at night, but the suspect would always flee before they could find him. This time, a group of local residents surrounded Nuggent and enacted a citizen's arrest until police arrived.
He was booked at El Segundo jail on a misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace. Cops aren't sure of his motive. (Still)Idle gossip & unconfirmed rumors:
WAYNE NEWTON's former neighbors ain't too happy with the charming singer. The NY Post's Page Six gossip column reports locals near Casa de Shenendoah in Las Vegas are ticked off that peacocks and peahens are roaming around, scratching cars, holding up traffic and believe they're coming from the Wayne's former estate. Unfortunately, Wayne's attorney claims they've "never bought" or "brought in a peacock" and the 40-acre property is now a museum. (Lee)
