Filling a need:
Everybody wants Hatchimals --they are one of --if not THE-- hottest toy this holiday season and have been pretty much sold out.
However, yesterday Target posted notices they would be getting "dozens" more of the toys starting on Sunday at stores around the country... and have enough to re-stock during the week as well.
Wal-Mart also says they will be restocking Hatchimals at approximately 17-hundred select stores across the country. Good luck!Trendspotting:
The ride-sharing app Uber has partnered with ugly Christmas sweater retailer Tipsy Elves to deliver free sweaters to residents of five participating cities. The Hollywood Reportersays if you live in New York, Boston, Dallas, Denver and Chicago, you can order a sweater through the app today so you can receive it just before Ugly Christmas Sweater Day on December 16th. Face time with the judge:
The KARDASHIANS are spending Christmas season with their favorite people --namely, their trusty legal team! TMZ.com reports BLAC CHYNA is trying to trademark the name "Angela Renee Kardashian" to use after she marries her baby daddy, ROB, but this isn't going over well with his three sisters. KIM, KHLOE and KOURTNEY aren't having it and filed paperwork claiming their companies will suffer "damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill." Need more? They claim their future sister-in-law is "deliberately seeking profit" from their good name. (Lee)
Taking everything much too seriously:
A Cincinnati area man says someone vandalized his beloved "Zombie Nativity" scene.
JASEN DIXON's Nativity scene features a ghostly MARY figurine, a green baby JESUS, and a cast of several undead-looking biblical figures. But, someone came onto his property in Sycamore Township this week and beheaded Mary before tossing baby Jesus across the yard. He repaired the statuettes and says he'll fix them again if the culprits stage a repeat performance.
Dixon's Nativity scene has been causing controversy ever since he first built it three years ago. The township even took him to court last year for alleged zoning violations over the nontraditional display. But, that case was eventually dropped. Dixon's attorney argued the township was trying to suppress his freedoms. The recent vandalism marks the first time someone has intentionally damaged the display. (Still) -
