Thought you were having a bad day? How about the person who was sitting next to the 63-year-old man on an E-train on the New York City subway system. As the train reached its final stop at Jamaica Center around 5:30 pm, it was discovered that he was dead.
Police say there were no injuries or wounds on the guy, and it's believed he died from natural causes. And nobody could tell them how long he was on the E train before he was discovered to be dead.Health and Medical Briefs:
"Goat yoga" is a thing in Oregon now. CNN has a story about LAINEY MORSE of Albany, Oregon, who started holding yoga classes with goats --and they've become so popular that there's a 12-hundred person waiting list that's growing. The goat yoga classes are held at her farm, where eight goats have open access to guests during yoga classes. They say "snuggles are not uncommon, and neither is the occasional upward goat on a downward dog." Morse says best part about her yoga classes is how much her students are connecting with the animals. Morse's goats are also service animals, providing assisted therapy for people living with depression and other disabilities. "It's not curing disease, but its helping people cope with whatever they're going through." (Bartha)
Martin Luther King, Jr, holiday:
The National Parks Service is providing free admission to all 405 National Parks today to honor Dr King; the list can be found HERE... Of course, there's already a large number of parks which are free of charge, but several of the larger parks are waiving their admission fees, including Yosemite, Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and Olympic National Park.
