Trash talk and satellite dish:
His "Saturday Night Live" impressions of DONALD TRUMP have gotten "yuge" publicity, and now ALEC BALDWIN will be writing a satirical book about the President.
It's called "You Can't Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump."
The NY Timessays Alec's co-author will be KURT ANDERSON, one of the editors of the now-defunct, satirical Spy magazine in the 1980s, and the book will be in stores in November, just in time for the lucrative holiday gift-giving season.
Alec will also be narrating the audiobook as Trump.
Sheer stupidity:
This guy found out the hard way that he's not Spiderman. DEVON WADE, an ex-con from New York, ran from police in the Bronx, jumping from roof to roof to try and get away. Unfortunately he didn't make one of the jumps and fell to his death. His fiancé found him on the pavement, wearing nothing but his underwear, and started screaming at him to wake up. Wade had 19 prior arrests and was wanted on fraud charges from 2013. (Myers)
Driver's Ed:
Um, yeah, the gas pedal is on the right, the brake on the left, memorize that. A teenager in Houston, who hasn't had his license that long, mixed up the pedals on his car. Unfortunately, he was on the roof of a seven-story parking garage at the time. He went over the side, landing on another roof, this time one that belonged to Westheimer Plumbing and Hardware. The teen was inside the store when police arrived. Thankfully, he's fine; the store, not so much. (Myers)
Grace notes from Vinny Marino:
YOKO ONO is ready to check out. There are reports from Radar Online that JOHN LENNON's 84-year-old widow is confined to a wheelchair and fears she only has a few months left to live. Yoko is working on a documentary about her anti-war efforts with John and it will be her final offering. Yoko is still active on Twitter. Last week she posted (quote), "When will the world be better? When you decide that it is." (Marino)
Shop Talk:
Congrats to my friend, ELVIS DURAN, who's getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning at 11:30 am (Pacific), to celebrate his lengthy career in radio. CHRIS MARTIN of COLDPLAY and L-A REID will be speaking at the ceremony across the street from the historic Capitol Records Building.
