Us Weeklyreports the couple's first daughter, EVA GRACE, was born --and passed away-- last Monday on April 17th, 2017. Mom and dad learned that the baby was terminally ill during her ultrasound last December, but carried her to term so the little one's organs could be donated to other sick children.
Keri proudly showed off a photo of her family on Instagram saying the precious princess was "so perfect in her own little way" and promises she'll be sharing more about "her incredible story later." (Lee)Zika Update:
As mosquito season ramps up again, activists and health workers along the Texas border with Mexico fear that the region is at risk for an outbreak of the Zika virus. More than 1.3 million people live in the Rio Grande Valley, where conditions are ripe for mosquitoes to breed. The Guardianreports that if there is an outbreak, "It's going to hit the poorest people." Experts with the University of Texas School of Public Health say that includes people who live in areas where mosquitoes are going to breed and have poor housing, "just like it is in South America," where the virus was widespread.
