As you may recall, NBC cancelled an episode of "The Carmichael Show" earlier this month, after the shooting at the practice for the Congressional baseball game and a second mass shooting in San Francisco.
That's because the content of "The Carmichael Show" was about what happens after he survives a mass shooting.
Now, the Hollywood Reportersays NBC will be airing the episode --called "Shoot-up-able"-- tomorrow (Wednesday) night. In the episode, Carmichael's character survives a mass shooting and has to relive it while telling a police officer exactly what happened.Stars and their movies:
Warner Brothers will be doing a sequel to BEN AFFLECK's movie from last fall, "The Accountant."
The Hollywood Reportersays Ben is also in talks to return as the movie's star, although he'll have to fit it into his busy schedule --he's in the "Justice League" film, which is shooting now, and also scheduled for the stand-alone "Batman" movie as well. No word about ANNA KENDRICK or J-K SIMMONS, who both co-starred in "The Accountant," which is on cable this month.Designer Update:
REBEL WILSON is launching her own clothing line this summer, designing for the underserved size-14-and-up market. InStylesays after a well-received trial run in 2015 with the specialty retailer Torrid, the actress is introducing a more ambitious collection, It's called Rebel Wilson x Angels. Her first designs include trend-driven jackets like a suede motorcycle style in sophisticated colors, polished-looking dresses, and --with a small touch of her signature self-deprecation-- a denim jacket embroidered with the message on the back: "Just fan me & feed me grapes."
Most items are priced under $100, while the suede jacket is the most expensive design, at $298. Retailers have reacted enthusiastically to her collection. Dillard's, Lord & Taylor, and Nordstrom will carry it in hundreds of stores around the country , and Rebel plans to make appearances to support the launch. (Bartha)
