The most tear-jerking story of the day goes to STEVE WINFREE and his wife, HEATHER, who really knows how to make an announcement. The UK's Daily Mailreports her dashing husband is on dialysis, in desperate need of a kidney transplant and the missus just found out she's a match. The little lady broke the news by giving her hubby a set of custom designed baseball cards, one featured his own mug and the news that he'd be getting his bride's kidney.
The video has gone viral, is causing a serious run on Kleenex around the world and Steve doesn't know how he could love his better half any more.

On, off and way-off-Broadway:

A stage musical version of the 1997 Disney animated film "Hercules" is in the works. Composer ALAN MENKEN told the Orange County Register (quote), "I have a very strong belief like Newsies, Hercules is going to have a moment that will surprise people." One of Alan's songs from the movie, "Go The Distance" was nominated for an Oscar. (Marino)

Want to live to be really old? Eat spicy food.
That's the advice from MARIA LOPEZ of in San Antonio, Texas, who turned 110-years-old last week. Lopez's family says she credits her longevity to really spicy food. Her daughter ROSEMARY says, "She always has a lot of chili on her food. A lot of hot pepper." She even eats hot sauce on her hamburgers and hot dogs. Lopez has one daughter, four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday Saturday by eating spicy Tex-Mex. (Still)

SELENA GOMEZ is selling one of the t-shirts from her "Bad Liar" video. Teen Voguesays Selena's Closet (SelenasCloset.com) is selling a tank top based on the "WOLVES" shirt she wore in the basketball scene. The shirt she actually wore was a $9.90 Forever 21 Tank Top in white and black with letters spelling "WOLVES" ironed on. But her $25 Wolves Varsity Ringer Tank Top is designed to look just like it.
