Pet Patrol:

A bride-to-be replaced all the flowers at her wedding with something she likes even better: puppies.
23-year-old SAMANTHA CLARK of Iowa teamed up with a pet rescue to create puppy bouquets in place of traditional flowers. Bridesmaids carried the rescue pets down the aisle during the ceremony. Clark says she wanted to raise awareness that people should adopt rescue dogs instead of buying them from a pet store.
The pet rescue that donated the puppies says they received an influx of pet adoption applications right after the wedding. Rescue owner AMY HEINZ says, "It was a really sweet way to bring raise awareness to rescue dogs." (Still)

ERWIN SNIEDZINS hates traditional universities but was very adamant about continuing his education. The business management consultant from Toronto did some searching around and found a Master's program that had no studying, exams or homework, all for just $81-hundred dollars.
"I don't necessarily like to pay $30-thousand dollars to get a master's when I feel I already have the knowledge." Not shockingly, the program and the degree he earned from Kings Lake University turned out to be totally fake.
Sneidzins said he talked to someone at Kings Lake over the phone and sent them all his professional and life experience and they qualified him for a degree. Turns out Kings Lake is no more than a website run out of Pakistan. "It felt like they were more legit than the other ones. Their website's pretty good. And when you phone, you get someone there," Sniedzins said. (Myers)
