Off the beaten path:
When you gotta go, you gotta go! Police in Colorado Springs are on the lookout for a female jogger they have dubbed "The Mad Pooper."
CATHY BUDDE says her children came running in the house saying, "There's a lady taking a poop!" Sure enough, Budde yelled at her, "Are you really taking a poop right here in front of my kids?!" The jogger said, "Yeah, sorry!" and jogged on.
Sgt. JOHNATHAN SHARKETTI of the Colorado Springs police department said the woman faces indecent exposure and public defecation charges. "For someone to repeatedly do such a thing... it's uncharted territory for me," he said. See some pictures here. (Myers)Animal Stories:
A man in China was boiling a pot of live crabs when something unexpected happened.
Video shows one of the crabs climbing out of the pot of water and using its claws to switch off the stove burner. The crustacean's acrobatics saved the lives of his fellow crabs. However, it's unclear from the video if the cook simply threw the crab back in and turned on the heat again. (Still)Going Geek-dot-com:
The cybersecurity firm McAfee says AVRIL LAVIGNE has been dubbed this year's "Most Dangerous Celebrity on the Internet." That means an internet search for Avril was the most likely celebrity to land users on websites that carry viruses or malware. Searches for the "Complicated" singer have a 14.5 percent chance of landing you on a web page with the potential for online threats, a number that increases to 22 percent if users type her name and search for free MP3s.
Avril's last album was in 2013. She's been out of the spotlight for a few years while she battles Lyme disease. McAfee says she scored so high on its 11th annual list thanks to a feature story on E! Online and an internet conspiracy that she had been replaced by an imposter. Lavigne is the first female musician to take the Number One spot, replacing AMY SCHUMER last year.
The annual survey highlights the dangers of clicking on suspicious links. McAfee urges internet users to consider the risks associated clicking on downloadable content. The company used its own site ratings to compile the celebrity list and used searches on Google, Bing and Yahoo. The top-10:
10. BEYONCE
9. KATY PERRY

6. CALVIN HARRIS
5. CELINE DION
4. ZAYN MALIK
