Filling a need:
WalMart is reportedly testing a grocery delivery service that would let them put the groceries away in your house --even if you're not home.
Here's how it would work --the delivery guy would get a one-time code allowing him (or her) to enter your house if it has an internet-connected lock. The person would then put the perishables in your fridge or just drop off packages in the kitchen. And, if you've got a camera hooked up as well, you can watch the delivery.
Editor's note: What's wrong with this picture? Would you let somebody do that in your house?Watercooler:
Dove Men+Care surveyed 2,000 American men to find that most of them think a full head of hair will improve their chances of success... in the board room. (Admit it --you though that sentence would end with "the bedroom.")
Eight in ten men believe their hair makes them look professional, how it looks is important, and helps them feel confident. And more is better. Survey HERE. (Kaye)Road Warrior:
Oh, you want free parking? Well, how about I gift wrap your car for you, too?
NEIL JUNGLAS from Hunts Cross, Liverpool, in England was soticked that a woman who went on vacation parked in front of his house, that he wrapped her entire car in plastic wrap! The woman parked and then got into a taxi to the airport.
"Obviously, they just wanted some free parking. Next door they have a couple of cars as well so there isn't really room for other cars to park on the road. I thought it was cheeky leaving the car there, so thought I'd leave them a nice surprise for when they got back. I work at Costco so I went and bought a big roll of cling-film from there."
And Neil wrapped the entire car! He did call the police, but they couldn't do anything about it since no laws were being broken. See the pics here. (Myers)
