Filling a need:
Forget about putting a reindeer nose on your car or Santa hat on your dog --the hottest holiday accessory is a blinged-out Starbucks cup! TENEKA MOORE tells TMZ that JENNIFER LOPEZ's manicurist asked her to make one for the diva's birthday and the A-lister absolutely loved it! J-Lo has been spotted everywhere with the one-of-a-kind creation that cost a cool $585. ALEX RODRIGUEZ also splurged on a lower-end variety that set him back just $495, Ms. Moore personally embellishes the items with Swarovski crystals and admits the trend is downright "crazy."
Phone starter: Do you know anyone that spends outrageous amounts of money on ridiculous items? (Lee)Driver's Ed:
If you're going to place a counterfeit license plate on your car, you might want to avoid this method.
Cops in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, recently joked that drivers should be a little more creative when making fake license plates. An unidentified man took them up on that Sunday and was quickly pulled over. Police say the guy used a pizza box and a black felt tip pen. He was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to have insurance, and attaching homemade plates. (Still)Taking everything much too seriously:
It's really not politically correct or socially acceptable --but he wants to keep it anyway. LORNE GRABHER, who lives in Nova Scotia, has had a license plate with his last name on it for the last 27 years. Authorities are taking it away, calling the plate, "GRABHER," "inappropriate." Grabher said, "I am increasingly dismayed by the hypersensitivity of some people who are 'offended' by every little thing they encounter," he continued.
"Such diversity and freedom are impossible if the government seeks to eliminate or limit every little thing and every little difference that could be perceived as 'offensive' to someone'." His case to keep his plate will heard next September. (Myers)
