Trolling for IQ points:
A California man killed a spider with a cigarette lighter then immediately regretted it.
A witness says a resident of her Redding apartment building spotted a spider and lit in on fire. But the eight-legged pest spread the fire when it crawled onto a nearby mattress. The mattress erupted into flames, which quickly spread to the curtains. Residents tried extinguishing the blaze with a garden hose but it didn't work. Luckily firefighters showed up and put out the fire. Damage is estimated at $11-thousand dollars. Investigators are still looking into the incident. (Still)On, off and way-off-Broadway:

London tabloids:
ED SHEERAN is serious about his art, his tattoos and his condiments. The British tabloid theLondon Sunreports the "Shape of You" singer is obsessed with Heinz Ketchup and "has run out of patience with going to place that don't serve it while he's touring." As a result, he's thrown down the gauntlet and put "key members of his entourage" in charge of having some on-hand at all times.(Lee)
