Another school shooting:
More gun tragedy --a 17-year-old senior girl at Birmingham, Alabama's Huffman High School was killed yesterday and another 17-year-old boy injured when gunfire rang out inside a school classroom around 3 pm yesterday afternoon.
The girl, who was identified as COURTLIN ARRINGTON on social media, was given CPR but attempts to save her failed. The boy was reportedly shot in the leg. Birmingham Police recovered the gun used in the shooting and Acting Chief ORLANDO WILSON said at this point --until they get further information-- they believe the shooting may have been accidental and that the male student was "showing off" his gun when it went off, hitting the female. He then accidentally shot himself as he was putting the gun away. On, off and way-off-Broadway:
Winter storms are the best time to get last minute Broadway show tickets. All performances went on as planned yesterday, including the matinees, but because of travel worries, many ticketholders cancel. That opens up their seats. "Dear Evan Hansen" posted this on its Twitter feed yesterday (quote), "Winter Snow Warning: This #noreaster might surprise you in an amazing way. Visit our cancellation line at the Music Box Theatre; #DearEvanHansen's 2:00PM and 8:00PM performances will go on as planned." And, a few shows were offering "snow day discounts." (Marino)

After Oprah became the spokesperson for the brand, the stock --which had been selling at under $7 a share-- gained 32 percent this year alone, closing yesterday at $62.99.Stars and their movies:
