Business Insider reports Ikea wisely purchased another company called TaskRabbit last September, which provides people to clean your home, deliver products and yes, even assemble furniture!
Customers in Emeryville and East Palo Alto, California can now hire a "tasker" through the app or a store employee and will offer the service nationwide over the next few months. The strategic move was well thought out to keep up with online giants like Wayfair and Amazon. (Lee)

A Broadway musical is in the works about JOY MANGANO, the inventor of the Miracle Mop. Deadline.com says "Once on This Island" and "Spring Awakening" producer KEN DAVENPORT got the rights to her story and is putting together a creative team now. Mangano's life was the basis of the 2015 movie, "Joy" starring JENNIFER LAWRENCE. (Marino)

A weatherman who legally changed his name to METEOROLOGIST is running for office.
METEOROLOGIST DREW ANDERSON --that's his full legal name --says he's running for Congress in Pennsylvania. He changed his name from plain old Drew Anderson last year and quit his job as a TV weatherman two weeks ago. Now, Anderson is trying to gather enough signatures to get on the ballot as a Republican so he can run against incumbent U.S. Representative LLOYD SMUCKER. (Still)
