A patient in England who had a play button tattooed on his shoulder almost had the wrong shoulder operated on when the surgical team mistook the tat for the mark indicating where they should cut.
Thankfully, someone realized the mistake before the surgery took place and the case is being used to educated surgeons. (Myers)

Fashion Emergency:

Is LADY GAGA getting ready to launch her own beauty brand? Fashionista.com says that could explain why her Gaga-ness has filed a trademark for something called Haus Beauty. The trademark was filed back in February and is said to cover everything from cosmetics to perfumes. (Bartha)

What's the Buzz:

News broke yesterday that Apple and the Goldman Sachs Group are in the midst of bringing a joint credit card to market.
The Wall Street Journal reports the card would be issued under Apple Pay possibly as early as next year. The move obviously benefits Apple, but Goldman Sachs will use the card to offer loans for customers who come into stores to buy Apple's hardware.
