Look for BRISTOL PALIN --former VP candidate SARAH PALIN's daughter-- to join the cast of MTV's "Teen Mom OG," replacing longtime cast member FARRAH ABRAHAM. Bristol qualifies because she was just 17 when she gave birth to her first child, TRIPP. Bristol is now ten years older and has two more children, a two-year-old daughter, SAILOR MEYER, and a one-year-old daughter, ATLEE MEYER, with her estranged husband, former US Marine DAKOTA MEYER. He filed for divorce from Bristol back in February, which ought to be good for more angst on the show's season 8.

Starbucks is opening its first Signing Store in the US this October in Washington DC.
By "Signing Store," we mean that a portion of the employees will be deaf or hard of hearing people who are capable of using American Sign Language. Starbucks opened their first-ever signing store in Malaysia two years ago. The new store will be at the current Starbucks site at 6th and H Streets in DC in early October and employ 20 to 25 employees who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The Iowa State Fair begins Aug 09 and the folks running the show have already released a list of the new foods which you can find on the midway for the next 11 days. There's 56 new foods, although some of them are a bit over-the-top, including:
•Pickle Beer
•Duck Bacon Wonton
•Cookie Dough Spaghetti
•Chicken In A Waffle On A Stick
•Maple Bacon Ice Cream
