Couple of deals to score today and this weekend. First of all, today is Krispy Kreme's birthday, and they're doing what amounts to a buy-one-get-one deal because of it.
The company will be turning 81 today --Fri, July 27-- and they'll sell you a dozen of their original glazed doughnuts for $1 if you buy another dozen. The deal is good at any of their stores in the US or Canada today only.

And it's freebie weekend as well. National Lipstick Day is being marked on this Sun, July 29, and with it, a bunch of national cosmetic brands will be giving away free lipstick. Some of the deals are completely free. So, just walk in the door and get your lipstick free. But others require a minimum purchase before you pucker up and get the goods. They include:

• IT Cosmetics
• MAC Cosmetics
• Stilla
• Bobbi Brown, and
• Sephora

And the third freebie won't be happening until next Tuesday (July 31), which is National Avocado Day and Chipotle is celebrating with a day-long guacamole giveaway.
That means instead of paying extra for the guac on your burrito, if you place an order online or via the Chipotle mobile app for an entree on Tuesday, the folks there will toss in a free order of guacamole. Or, you could get the free guacamole added to your entree, on the side, or as an order of chips and guac. All you have to do is enter the code "AVOCADO" before checkout.

--In the movie world, there's a "9 to 5" sequel happening with the original cast... and KRISTEN STEWART has officially been cast in the upcoming "Charlie's Angels" reboot.
