Nielsen reports NBC will probably end the year as the top broadcast network in every ratings measure, including total viewers.
NBC hasn't been at the top of the barrel since the 2001-2002 season. Not only will they have the most viewers overall --7.8 million to CBS' 7.7 million-- but they also get the advertisers' favorite demo --adults 18-49-- averaging a 1.8 rating. ABC and CBS tied for second place with a 1.3.

Former BACKSTREET BOYS member NICK CARTER will not be charged for a sexual assault accusation from 2003, since the statute of limitations has passed.
MELISSA SCHUMAN had accused Nick of raping her in a February blog; Nick denied the story. She said the alleged attack took place after they recorded a duet together and she was 18 and a virgin at the time. But the statute of limitations expired in 2013.

Finally, good news for US Open tennis star NAOMI OSAKA, who's reportedly set to sign an estimated $8.5 million a year endorsement contract with Adidas --the biggest deal Adidas has ever agreed to with a female athlete. The deal would make her the second-highest-paid woman this year, just below SERENA WILLIAMs.
