CARRIE UNDERWOOD will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning at at 11:30 am (Pacific) at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of the Capitol Records building. SIMON COWELL and BRAD PAISLEY will be the guest speakers at the event --Simon, of course, was a judge on "American Idol" Season 4 which Carrie won, setting off her music career. The reason for Brad's appearance is that he's co-hosted the CMA awards with Carrie for ten years and will do so again on Nov 14. It also serves to plug her new album, "Cry Pretty," out last Friday.

Fast food update: There's just two days left to stop in at the Flamin' Hot Cheetos pop-up restaurant at 1835 N. Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Frito-Lay restaurant will be open from 5:30 p.m. to midnight today and on Sep 20. Some of the entrees include:
--Flamin' Hot Elotes: described as a classic street corn buttered and covered in White Cheddar
--Flamin' Hot Chipotle Ranch Wings: wings drenched in delicious chili sauce, covered in Flamin Hot Chipotle Ranch Cheetos
--Hot Cheetos Burrito: Flamin' Hot Cheetos, short rib or avocado, cheese, and chili source cream sauce
