The Kingdom Choir, the gospel choir who performed at PRINCE HARRY and MEGHAN's wedding has picked up a spring tour over in the UK. In case you're interested, their debut album is set to be released Nov 02 on Sony Music UK. And yes, the album will include the choir's rendition of BEN E KING's "Stand By Me."
Note: some sources say the album dropped yesterday, although Sony Music UK's website says Nov 02.

How much money have you saved up? New data from Fidelity says if you'd like to retire "comfortably," you should have a percentage of your salary saved up. The breakdown by age:
--By age 40: Have three times your salary saved
--By age 50: Have six times your salary saved
--By age 60: Have eight times your salary saved
--And by age 67 (which most people tell you it's OK to retire), you should have 10 times your salary saved.
How do you compare with other folks? As of this year, a survey of Americans between 50-59 years old with a 401(k) had an average balance of $174,200.

My friend (and fellow broadcaster) JO MAEDER has written a new book with her father --who passed away in 1985. How it happened --she discovered a filing cabinet after his last (and much younger) wife passed away in 2011 and decided to write a book using some of those contents. "Zerk 'Em --and pull the push rods" is about the development of aviation in the mid-20th Century, and much, much more. Jo will be talking more about the book on NPR's "The State of Things" next Tuesday (Oct 02) at noon.
