Today's the day that we'll get the first-ever cell-phone EBS test.
FEMA officials will reportedly send out the test at 2:18 pm (Eastern) and say it should reach "at least" 75 percent of wireless-enabled devices, which would include not only cell phones but tablets with SIM cards and smartwatches. The message will say "Presidential Alert: This is a test of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed." And if that wasn't enough, radio and TV stations are scheduled to broadcast an EBS test as well at 2:20 pm (Eastern).Just what you wanna find in your Christmas stocking --a VLADIMIR PUTIN calendar for 2019. Yep, they're printing them --but only in Russia at this point. See pictures of the first eight months on CNN HERE.
