No real surprises in Forbes magazine's annual highest-paid TV actor list, with JIM PARSONS from the "Big Bang Theory" topping the list with an estimated $26.5 million pre-tax. Co-star JOHNNY GALECKI was second with $25 million and SIMON HELBERG and KUNAL NAYYAR tied for third with $23.5 million apiece. In fifth place, "NCIS" star MARK HARMON, who pulled in $19 million. Who hasn't had a green bean casserole? DORCAS REILLY, who's crediting with creating the old favorite back in 1955, passed away of Alzheimer's disease at the age of 92 in Haddonfield, NJ. Turns out she was working as a Campbell's Soup kitchen supervisor when she came up with the idea for the dish, which uses cream of mushroom soup as part of the ingredients, which also include green beans and crunchy fried onions. In fact, Campbell's reportedly says 40-percent of all of its cream of mushroom soup are used by folks making the casserole!
Speaking of food, McDonalds is testing a brand new breakfast sandwich. Look at it this way: one egg, two sausage patties, two slices of American cheese and some Applewood smoked bacon on top of your choice of a toasted McMuffin bun, buttery and flaky biscuit, or sweet and savory McGriddles cakes. The "Triple Breakfast Stack" will be available at Mickey D's on November first for two months through December.
There's no calorie description on McDonald's calorie calculation website, but my analysis is about 1240 calories with 660 from fat (73 grams) and 305 mg of cholesterol. Good luck with that...!
