MICHAEL DOUGLAS will be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this coming Tuesday morning (Nov 06) at 11:30 am (Pacific). JANE FONDA and RON MEYER, the Vice Chairman of NBCUniversal will be speaking at the dedication. Of course, Michael already has a Best Actor Oscar for his performance in "Wall Street." He also won an Oscar as Producer for the movie, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." He'll be starring in the new comedic series "The Kominsky Method," which will be out on Netflix Nov 16.
ROD STEWART says he wants to heal his split with JEFF BECK and work with him again almost 50 years after they split up. Rod was in the Jeff Beck Group but left in 1969 with RONNIE WOOD to form FACES. Rod told the London Mirror this past week "We did try it once but couldn't see eye to eye -- I mean, a serious clash of egos -- but you know, never say never. I know it's a cliche, but I'm really up for it if he's up for it."
Can you cook? In case you're looking for a chef's job, MADONNA is looking for a private chef to cook for her and her family.
The London Sun says applicants "must have knowledge of kosher cooking. Madonna does not run a kosher kitchen (separate equipment for meat/dairy and all that), but you must be familiar with all the basic rules (no dairy and meat served together, no pork, fish must have fins and scales, no swordfish, shellfish, etc.)" And although you'd be based in London, you'd also have to travel. But it does pay between $110-142,000 a year.MICHAEL JACKSON's black "Bad" jacket that he wore on his first solo tour is going up for auction next month and could fetch up to $100,000. It's signed on the back by Michael with a silver permanent marker. Of course, it could go for more, too, since Michael's red and black leather jacket that he wore in the "Thriller" video sold for $1.8 million at an auction back in 2011. The auction, which is being held at NYC's Hard Rock Cafe, will also feature electric guitars played by BOB DYLAN, PAUL McCARTNEY, ERIC CLAPTON, and U2's THE EDGE and BONO.
